"I did some things in these streets coming up. Nothing too crazy. But crazy enough to know I had a debt to repay. I'm blessed. I've got cousins doing serious time because of these streets. So I chose to pay it forward, whether it be resource room with my high school kids or after school with my four year olds. My family's lived here for forty years. We lost our NYCHA apartment a couple years back, but this will always be home base in my heart."
