The six-story building was evacuated in August when a partial collapse caused a 34 year old resident to fall through the stairs.
"I had just finished walking in the same spot a few minutes before," said Olga Quinones (89 years old) to DNA info reporter Jeff Mays.
She’s been able to stay with her daughter Debbie Quinones when need be, but not everyone is as lucky. Some tenants have been forced to shelters; some have decided to move out all together.
Months later, the damage has yet to be repaired.
